- yesterday morning 6 plus while brushing my teeth, i received a call. few minutes later, another call. not ready yet, the call was missed.
the third time. thr third call. it was private number, just like those 2 previous calls. quite certain that it was a prank call (nobody in the right frame of mind will call me so many times in the morning unless its a REAL emergency. but i do know who are my private number friends), i answered.
me: (in a strict voice) speak.
there was silence.
me: (in a strict voice) speak.
there was still silence.
at this point in time, i thought that i must have been quite rude. so i switched my opening word.
me: hello.
stranger: why you call my phone 6 times?
upon saying this, i figured that it was indeed a prank caller. while he was still talking/shouting, i cut the call. i went to shower.
when i came out, there was a miss call. same private number. however, he has never called back anymore.
i believe that this person repeatedly called me because my phone was switched on. probably he wanted to wake me up. i believe my 'speak' would have given him sufficient shock.
the day before, monday, cyn-thia was just telling me on how she received a prank call from the ministry of toilets asking her to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. imagine how coincident it can be.
