ms marilyn ang gave me a shock by sending me a text message this morning. she told me that she needed 5 english TYS, and asked me to help her get it from the ex students.
a while later, she messaged me again and told me that she needed 50, not 5!
so this is a call to all. IF YOU HAVE YOUR ENGLISH TYS AND DO NOT NEED IT, KINDLY BRING IT TO SCHOOL AND DROP IT IN MISS ANG'S PIGEON HOLE.

the feeling is weird, sitting in a lecuture theatre with 100 over students. some students talk, read magazines or play with their handphones (by the way, handphone is illegal in my school). and these students usually sit at the back of the lecture theatre.
in primary/secondary school, you get to sit in the classroom the whole day, and let the teachers do the walking. now, all of us have to do the walking. from the media resource room, to lecture theatre 1, then to the second one etc. and there would usualy be a big jam along the stairways.so i am in 05A2, taking lit, hist and econs. *the 4-D number to buy this week is 0512*
my history teacher, who happens to be my home tutor as well, told us the history of sani ultama, which we found it rather amuing. (if i didn't get the spelling right, the person is actually the founder of singapura)S.U. (for short form) was the grandson of a mermaid. S.U.'s father was a king. one day he decided to explore what was inside the sea. so he created an air bubble which transported him into the water. when he reached the sea-bed, he opened the bubble and realised that he still managed to breathe. he saw a beautiful princess, who was the daughter of the king of the sea. S.U.'s father married the mermaid, and had 3 children. the youngest child was S.U. feeling bored after spending 12 years in the sea, he returned to land, only to realise that 12 years in sea was equivalant to 12 mins on land. S.U. wanted to know who his father was. so he left the sea, went onto land to hunt for his father. his ship faced stormy waters during its travel. (familiar ain't it?) so he threw down his crown to prove to he is the prince of the sea. and the water was calm again. this was her point on how history can be distorted, and most importantly, interesting.
i couldn't imagine that my GP teacher was teaching an english-related subject. he would probably be better of teaching mathematics or science. he was briefing the class on the format of the GP paper. so he told us,"so since there are so much questions here, all of you should have no problem."
chinese teacher was boring. the worksheet on some chinese idoms she gave us was so tough. those at the back of the class were talking all the way. i was alone. nobody i knew was in that class. my OG members were not there too. =( it was a misery.tomorrow there'll be lit lesson.
i hope that it would be interesting. *i place high hopes on that*
