i realised that hot chick's description was the longest of all. i think she deserves the award for leaving the greatest impact in my life.
this entry is specially delicated to cheryl, especially when she moves on to her next step of education.
teacher: cheryl...don't sleep.
cheryl: i'm not sleeping. (when in fact she is)
this is the old excuse.
the new one is,
teacher: cheryl...don't sleep.
cheryl: shhh... AMEN! teacher i was praying.

let me gossip about all my outram teachers here, since i cannot go out due to my sickness.
SEC 1
Mrs Leet - form teacher. the very motherly one. she was fierce to us, just like any other lower sec classes. we did complain amongst ourselves that she was biased towards the girls, which was true. her english lesson were boring, especially the grammar lessons. "welcome to the wonderful world of.....grammar!" she would tell us. and we would respond with a big sigh. her literature lessons were interesting, though nearly half the class were asleep. not forgetting that i used to get 18/20 or 23/25 for her lit essays. heh.
Mdm Tan- She has her weapon, the metal ruler. she is extremely high-tech too. Every chinese lesson has a powerpoint presentation to go along. nothing much to talk about her, since i hardly pay attention to her lessons. all my workbook's answers were copied. nothing surpringing, i guess.
Mr Kumar - taught us only for 6 months. not too bad. he teaching was clear, though he had that indian accent with him.
Mrs Heng - the worst math teacher in my entire life and of the century. from an A1 to a F9, with 9/50 for one of my CAs. for half a year, we had only 1 pathetic math homework. and not forgetting she taught zhan hao's math textbook to fly when she threw it down from the third storey and it nearly crashed into the principal's head.
mr krishnan - his science lessons were ok, but it can be scary as well. his chair-drill was successful in every class he took, until we came. his PMSes can even be worst than ms lau wan sze. when you cannot answer his question, you would just have to stand at the corner to be a 'wall flower'.
ms seow - the self-proclaimed empress dowager. art lessons were.... alright. just that she always complained that i bitched at her.
mr yeo - he should retire before even coming to outram. i failed my d&t, all thanks to him.
ms wong - the nicest home economics teacher, of which i had a small argument with her, and she became angry.
mr tan - the oldest pe teacher around. easy and fun to bully. haha.
SEC 2
Mrs Leet - she was still the form teacher. everyone complained that her lit lessons were boring. but i found it rather interesting and paid careful attention to it. my favourite play that we learnt was the rumored 'lesbian' ah-ma play. i told her upteen times that i wanted to get into combination b. she was excited for me as well. till today, we are still in contact.
Mdm Tan - nothing much to say about her. the same old self.
Mr Kumar - "when i retire next time, i would open a clinic to help patients suffering from insomia." whenever he started to teach, everyone would start to doze off.
Mr Krishnan - lessons were getting more interesting with the index number game. i saw another side of him when he was desperately helping those sutdents with 47-49 marks for their exam to push it up to 50.
Mr Yeo - nothing to say. give up.
Ms Paul - mrs leet warned us not to call her ms paul, as it may make her sound like a man. but ironically, ms pal herself asked us to call her that. she was the lady who had a fetish of asking the boys to eat spices.
ms seow - she labelled me as her 'bitch boys'.
mr teo - the no joke and no fun to bully pe teacher. running is his favourite, but apparently not ours.
SEC 3
Ms De Silva - apparently my mum doesn't really like her. i don't know why. her biology class was another boring lesson for us. we used to make fun of her -censored-. you know what, i know what. haha. there were several misunderstanding between us. but it soon cleared. i don't know how it became a misunderstanding too.
Mrs Grace Low - my favourite english teacher. the mc queen too. "who is coming in next?" "mrs low." whee! a time of fun, laughter and jokes. dirty ones in fact. there was once she gave us a 'biology enrichment' on how to give birth. that took 30 minutes. i hated her newspaper clippings. every week, 3. it was boring and tiring to do.
Mdm Tan - same old boring but caring teacher.
Ms Low Khiok Ghee - the cutest teacher. not because of her height, but because of her SMILE! be in sweet or sour, she would too smile at us. her teaching was needless to say, good. she taught us how to do matrix problem sum within 5 minutes. if people like cheryl can even understand, ms low is really something. haha. however, people at the back, which i am guilty of, always ended up copying.
Mr Koh - the potassium hydroxide. his notes are everything to him. his lessons = free period, if you do not let him catch you. the WORST physics teacher. all agree with two hands up.
Ms Freyja - my FAVOURITE chemistry teacher. a bimbotic one. the founder of the bo-bo club. though i always failed her tests, but towards the exams, i passed. she really drilled us with chemical formulae and bonding, for one particular person. till today, i still miss her alot.
mr derick wong - another digressor. i think he is the reason for our down-fall in a math. we always had to copy notes from the transparency. it was just like his history/social studies lesson.
ms tan - another cute teacher. (it seems that all cute teachers are short) geography is boring. and sometimes ms tan made it even more boring. map-reading is still a no no for me.
mr ooi - constantly trying to push the class to achieve higher, when in fact, half the class slept through his lessons.
ms lau wan sze - she took over mrs low and taught us english. she was a nice person, still is now. just that her voice may even chase cows home. everyday dressing something different, the classroom seemed to be the ground for 'outram next top model'.
SEC 4
Mr Ooi - form teacher. pc and form teacher's period = free period for us.
Mdm Tan - 4 years of teaching. though i'm grateful, but i still don't like chinese.
Ms Lau - a scarier one now. partly because of her boss too. she was totally lifeless. her diaphragm was extremely well trained that she could scream at us without her face turing red. we would always guess what she was wearing. -censored the details- you know what, i know what.
Ms Lim - the one that failed to control 4/8. in return, the class controlled her. she has the highest number of nicknames we can ever think of, so much that she can enter into the gusiness book of record for the highest number of nicknames. they include our favourite, hot chick, hong-er, xiao-hong, singapore next top model, hong-mei, siew mai and chief digressor. she always complained that i digressed in her lessons. which in fact, she was the one who started it first. her explanation were so-so, can do. but the thing that made her different from the other teachers were her scarsam and her make-fun of students. she made fun of students like cynthia (cyn-thia), elvi and myself. in the end, she was constantly bombed by the class. we always greeted her,"Good morning HOT CHICK!" her menopause days are not fun to be with. she would for no reason scold us. there was once she was sick, and she talked very little and she made fun of no students. soon, when she was getting better, she started to made fun of everyone in class. we all knew that she was well already, or even healther than before.
Mrs Law - the nanny. always telling us lame joke. during the lunar seventh month, she told us "why are you all so noisy? i hope that there is no uninvited guest here." but some methods she taught us to memorise was good.
Mr Lee - thanks God for SPA. it was only SPA that mr lee saw how screwed our pratical skills were. hence, he became our physics teacher. always boasting about how smart he was, his lessons were clear and he was patient in his teaching too. his teaching was great, so great that even chong jun can understand. once chong jun can understood, the other 41 would have understand (long ago).
Mr Wong - the biology teacher who does not appear to be like a teacher. he and i, nothing much to talk about.
Mr Ho - giving us some funny pe lessons, and in the end we still asked for captain's ball.
Mr Khew - taught us for a few months. he did not allow me to jump, be the defender or catcher for captain's ball. i felt that i was as good as a handicapped.
Ms Tan - lessons were as boring as ever. in the end, either checking my phone or allowing my mind to wander to wonderland.
the best teacher to play and joke with is : Ms Lim Siew Hong
the teacher with the best teaching skills : Ms Freyja (this is a useless contest)
